BE A COMMITTED MEMBER OF THE NATIONAL
MARROW DONOR PROGRAM? YOU could be the only person in the world to match Robin, Gladys... or some other person in the USA... or even another part of the world. Won't you help? Please?
Easley residents,Robin Burns Whittemore and Gladys Murphy have been waiting over 2 years for a perfect bone marrow donor match to espcape a premature death from Leukemia. Unfortunately, their family members are not a match. Last year, the Pickens County Bone Marrow
Association was formed to work with the National
Marrow Donor Program in creating awareness of the
need for bone marrow donors, as well as holding
drives to test potential donors. Even though there
are millions of people registered, nationwide, no
perfect match has been found for either Gladys
or Robin.
