Our Lord, Jesus, works in such mysterious ways to supply our needs....as He always promises to do. Robin and son, Fritz, met Cathy and Larry in the waiting room of the Leukemia dept. at MD ANDERSON CANCER CENTER in Houston, Texas. Fritz was wearing a Presbyterian College tee shirt that day and the Davis' noticed it and asked which Presbyterian College it was from. He replied, Clinton, SC, and they said, "Oh, we're from Columbia and wondered if it was the same one we knew !" Larry, a leukemia patient himself had attended Newberry College...just down the road from PC. In conversation, he mentioned that he had more sky miles "than he knew what to do with", and Robin laughed, jokingly, as she said "Well you can give me some". The Davis' and Whittemore's exchanged e-mail addresses and phone #'s and when Robin returned to SC, she had an e-mail from Larry saying that he wanted to donate tickets for her next trip for treatments using his sky miles. "It's truly one of God's miracles that we would meet up with this wonderful couple and they would be so kind and generous", Robin says.
